I moved to London in 2004. I came over to study piano performance post-graduately at the then Trinity College of Music, having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Studies at the University of Malta, my country of birth.

I love JS Bach, Ravel and Debussy, Brahms’s Deutches Requiem, Carlos Jobim and Joao Gilberto, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Lady Gaga, Italian 70’s and 80’s ballads, ABBA, Freddie Mercury and Nick Drake. On my phone you’ll also find Indian devotional music, Sicilian creole songs and mantra chanting.

I have given solo recitals, accompanied singers and performed chamber music in the UK, in Ireland, in Malta, in Turkey and in Tunisia.

My pursuits are as eclectic as my musical tastes. I have written two ballets (The Little Mermaid, 2016 / The Happy Prince, 2018), a children’s musical and some solo songs for voice and piano for television.

My love of ballet started at the age of 16 when I started working part-time at the College of Jazz in Malta as a ballet repetiteur. Ballet work was my first source of income in the UK and allowed me to support myself whilst studying at Trinity.

In my spare time, I have developed my vocal technique with private tutors since joining the London Symphony Chorus in 2016. The choir is based at the Barbican, sings under the musical leadership of Mariana Rosas, and is affiliated with the LSO.

I was elected to the choir’s council in 2025 and I now sit on its board of directors.
